CNRL Horizon Early Works

PCL Industrial Constructors Inc. is engaged in the construction of the Coke Drum Structure for the CNRL Horizon project which is situated in the Primary Upgrading Unit (PUG).  The Coke Drum Structure, once complete, will provide the base foundation for four-500 ton coke drums and 1,600 tons of structural steel.  The PUG is considered the heart of the upgrading facility and is utilized to convert bitumen into synthetic crude oil through the use of Delayed Coking technology.
